The objective of this project is to develop a comprehensive database encompassing colleges, universities, and online schools across the United States. The database aims to assist students in their research endeavors by providing information on various aspects of each educational institution. Notably, the system will incorporate filtering functionalities, enhancing the efficiency of student searches, and facilitating access to relevant data.
We are the students of the 2024 data capstone class for the spring semester.
The data modeler designs and implements database structures, manages data processing and cleaning tasks, and oversees dataset organization within the notebook environment. The team manager coordinates sprint planning, manages team time allocation, and handles project management tasks including Jira administration.
The data analyzer develops and applies algorithms, such as classification and neural networks, to extract patterns from the database and manages analysis notebooks. The client liaison facilitates communication, demonstrations, and negotiations with clients, ensuring alignment between project progress, client requirements, and planned solutions.
The visualization specialist creates visual representations of data and develops web pages to showcase project data effectively. The project documenter maintains comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring detailed records of each step and overseeing the creation of presentation documents.
